About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a visa 5h layover in SZX Airport

Hi I’m traveling from LAX to SZX to Korea, and I have a 5h layover in SZX Airport. I have a philippine passport and a permanent residence in USA. Do I still NEED to get a visa? even im NOT going outside the airport?

No, you don't. If the above is your definitive itinerary without additional stops or similar, you are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Shenzhen. In other words you don't need any kind of visa.
