buying ticket hight speed train

What is the best option to buy a high speed train ticket? From online while we overseas or buying the ticket at the train station when we arrive in China ?

I think it depends on your schedule. For most trips, it is definitely necessary to book ticket in advance as they would be sold out quickly. For some trips, for example, short distance trip, it is possible to buy it at station after your arrival in China.
