About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

US Resident needs China Visa

Hello- I am a US resident residing in Dubai and have been invited to speak at a medical meeting in China this year. Do i need a business visa and can I obtain one from the consulate in Dubai? Thank you

Yes, Robert, you need a visa, but if the meeting is not in a private company, you may need to apply for an F type instead of business M type. You can apply for it at the consulate in Dubai.
