About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

visa assistance for a UK national

HI there.... I live in the Caribbean and am a UK citizen and passport holder. I was planning on flying to LA for 24hrs then direct to guangzhou. Been doing tons of research on line and see i can get the 144hr visa free transit. I am only planning on staying 6 days but in that time I want to travel to Shanghai for a couple of days then fly out. Total time in the country will be under 144 hrs but with the 144hr visa free transit you can't leave the province of Guangzhou... any tips please ? Would be greatly offered. FYI where I live there is no Chinese embassies or consulates

You can only visit Guangzhou and Shanghai if you book other flights. For example, LA-Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Shanghai-LA wouldn't need a visa, and you can benefit from 144 hours visa-free transit in both Guangzhou and Shanghai.
