Airport assitance

Hi, I'm traveling with my 23-year-old daughter who will be on crutches. We don't have al on long layovers from Brisban, going to South Africa, and I'm concerned about time. She'll be wearing a Sunflower assistance lanyard so assume we'll get assistance at the airport with her not able to stand for too long etc. Do we book a cart or are there many available? Thank you.
