Visa student X1 in Thailand

Hi! I will apply my student visa X1, but before I didn’t decide to study a major, so I booked ticket to Thailand in case if I needed to go out of China. Now I was submitted and I have the paperwork’s from the university, and I will go to Thailand, the legal stay proof would be a stamp or paper from when I enter to Thailand. I’m from Chile and is difficult to me to come back because is far away and expensive and also I invest money in “in case of” to come to Thailand and do the x2, but my decision changed and now I will do the X1 in Thailand. Is there’re no problem to do the X1 in Thailand ? If it there is problem, I should go to Macau to do the X1 visa? Just want to confirm, that’s all.
