Would this qualify for 144 hour visa free transit?

I am flying from London Heathrow on Singapore Airlines (Via Singapore) to Beijing landing in Beijing on October 4th 2019. On October 7th 2019 I am then boarding a cruise ship to go to Japan; Taiwan; Hong Kong; Vietnam and ending up back in Singapore again on October 19th 2019, where we stay for 2 days before flying back directly to London Heathrow.

Would this qualify to be Visa free?
Is there any issue with landing in Singapore before flying immediately to China and then finishing the cruise in Singapore?

Richard, if Beijing is your only stop in mainland China, you can enjoy 144h visa exemption transit.
