About:China Visa Application in UK

which type for overnight stay en route to Japan

hi - we are arriving into Beijing on the Trans-Mongolian train from Moscow, and flying out the next day on to Japan. do we need a regular tourist visa for this or the 144 hour one?

Hi, you are not eligible for 144h visa exemption transit and you should apply for tourist or transit visa in advance.
