About:Shanghai Travel

I am looking at visiting Shanghai from 8th August 2019 to 13th August 2

Under the 6 Day Free Chinese Visa policy, am I able to do so by just flying from Bangkok into SH on 8th Aug & fly out on 13th August 2019.

I am visiting a friend and staying at 665 Sunjian Road, Pudong, Shanghai.
I have an Australian passport with over 6 month before expiry date in 2024.
Is the ^ Day Visa issued on my arrival in Shanghai Airport???

Thanks,
John Stephen Browne

You may do so if you fly from country A into China (country B) and then onwards to country C.

For example: You may fly from Bangkok, Thailand (country A) to Shanghai, China (country B), but your onward flight 6 days later has to be to say... Sydney, Australia (country C).

Hope this helps.
