Because the Situation in Hk it can may be difficult to stay in Hk to apply the visa to Guangzhou,
So can I choose the 144 hours
Like arrive to HK then take the train direct to Guangzhou and stay there 144 hours
With visa and travel after that to Macau ?

So Hk then Guangzhou then Macau
So the question is is the Macau as the third country or they will account all as China ?
So I will need a visa ?
If the answer ( I can do that )
So it is fine

If the answer I can’t do that

So from which agency I’m Macau I can apply the visa to Hk ?

The 144-hour transit rule forbids you from traveling to Guangzhou by land or sea. You have to fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou on a commerical airline and provide a confirmed departure ticket to Macau to immigration. Currently the only doable way is by ferry (Google CKS-Chu Kong Passenger Transport).

Moreover, this will cost much more than a visa given that a one-way ticket to Guangzhou is around US$200 whereas you can get a visa for about 2/3 of the price (not to mention you also earn the flexibility to travel by train or bus).

Also to avoid unexplained visa refusals in HK (where many get their last-minute visas) a smart way is to apply in your country of residence.

You could use 144 hour visa free transit that is a bit complicated, but also doable:

- Take a plane from Hong Kong to Guangzhou
- Take a train from Guangzhou to Shenzhen
- Take a ferry from Shenzhen Shekou port to Macau
- Take a ferry or bus to Hong Kong

The above itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit for entire Guangdong province, but probably you should go after a visa that you can obtain in Hong Kong because it will be cheaper and also more comfortable option because you will be able to use high speed train directly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and back in the same way. One more detail, I recommend that you obtain a Chinese visa while you are in Sweden. This is by far the most comfortable option of all.

In case that you have obtained a Chinese visa, of course you can. You can travel all over China with it. Of course, you will have to explain to the employees in Hong Kong CVASC that you do not intend to use the plane to reach the mainland China, but an overland transport. This is logical because you will start your Chinese trip in Hong Kong.

For any other question, you are encouraged to visit Hong Kong CVASC website because they have really comprehensive explanations and you can also make an appointment in person for your application.
