2 day overstay

I overstayed my visa for 2 days in 2016. The previous year, my resident permit expired on 27th and year after that, it expired on 25th. As I prepared to renew it, I got the dates wrong and went to renew it two days late. I wrote an apology later and stayed in China for another 3 years. I wasn’t penalized. I’ll be applying for a new visa from the consulate next month and I’m wondering if I should check the box that asks if I have ever overstayed my visa or whether I should mention that incident
