No, you cannot. It is, as you can see just a return flight or better to say a visit to mainland China, so it is ineligible.
My suggestion is, use this itinerary and you will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing:
Hong Kong - Beijing - Macau or
Macau - Beijing - Hong Kong
Keep in mind that your flights have to be of nonstop type!0
