Thank you. We have one day in Hong Kong, not immediately before Beijing, so I am thinking that we qualify? Do we just get that as we disembark?

Your itinerary is eligible in principle for 144 hour visa free transit, but the following conditions have to be fulfilled:

- Your cruise should not have its last port call, immediately before Tianjin (Beijing), in mainland China
- Your flight from Beijing should not have any additional landings within mainland China and in country where you had your last port call, immediately before Tianjin (Beijing)

If you fulfill the above mentioned conditions, you are qualified for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing or in another words, you will not need any kind of visa.
