About:China Train Ticket Booking FAQ

Which trains have baggage compartments for bicycles

Our tour group will be arriving in early February 2020

We will be a group of about 5 people each with a bicycle boxed in a standard cardboard travel box

We want to book an overnight train on the standard service

Do all of the overnight scheduled trains have baggage compartments to store bicycles?

We will be traveling from Kunming to Lijiang

What would be the cost of a bicycle on the train?

Kunming Station should be able to offer checked luggage consignment. It is not sure if all overnight ride has baggage compartmwnt and I guess it can only be know at station. I read that the cost will be count by weight and distance etc. It should not be too expensive to arrange them by overnight slow train.
