4 berth sleeping compartments with door is the soft slepper class. There are several trains from Beijing to Guangzhou having it, and you can search for them on your own on this page: www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

One thing to note is that you'd better book the tickets early enough, because if there are not enough tickets left, you four may be allocated into different compartments.

I can see on your website that trains with category D have "New Soft Sleeper" options. So compartment on D trains are lockable or not?
That's a description on the website "Soft Sleeper
1. A limited number of trains feature new double-deck soft sleepers with a central aisle (open cabin design), while most trains retain the standard 4-berth soft sleeper compartments."
How do I know which one will have a lockable compartment?

As I can see, all soft sleepers from Beijing to Guangzhou are four-berth compartments with doors. But if the train is temporarily changed, it may be different. When making the order, I stronly advise you to leave a note that you want the four tickets in one compartment and the compartment has a lockable door.
