About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Hi, if I fly from Japan to South Korea-Seoul and then from Seoul I go to China (Shanghai), stay 72 hours and then going back to Japan, am I eligible for the free 72 hours visa? Could be that all the flight are with different companies (single tickets) or it must be with the same company?
