About:China Visa

X2 Visa extension

I'm doing some study /exchange in China for 6 month. On my X2 it says the (duration of stay) is 180 which is fine. But the Issue Date and Expire Date is only 3 month. Does that mean I have to extend it for another 3 month?

No. The visa's validity only affects your ability to travel in and out of the country. Once you have entered the country, only the duration of stay matters.
