About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

TRIP Sao Paulo - New York- Beijing- New York-Sao Paulo

The route Sao Paulo - New York - Beijing- New York-Sao Paulo would be ok for a 144-Hour Visa-Free Transit? There is any problem if the stop in going to Beijing is the same in the return from Beijing?

It is obviously not ok for visa-free transit, because New York-Beijing-New York is not a transit. This is a visit to China and requires a visa.
