About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I am a UK citizen

Hi, we are staying in Hong Kong for a week on business/pleasure. We have a day trip booked to China to visit our manufacturing plant and will only be staying there for a few hours. Do we still need to get a visa?
Many thanks

If the city/province where your plant is located is included within 72/144 hours scheme, you can arrange your travel itinerary to be eligible for this visa free transit. In order to suggest you what to do, you will have to tell where you intend to travel.

If your destination within mainland China is Shenzhen, then the best option is to apply for Shenzhen VOA on the border crossing because this will be the cheapest option if traveling from Hong Kong, even with the fact that UK citizens have to pay 304 CNY for obtaining of this specific visa.
