Mars, I am quite confused about your question as invitation letter is not required to obtain Z type.0

Yes. In China you are required to submit documents so that you employer can send you an INVITATION LETTER inviting you to apply for the Z working visa. After obtaining Z visa, you can then apply for official WORK PERMIT.0
