VISA Requirement for Singaporean Passport

I am a Singaporean citizen holding a Singaporean passport.
I am planning to travel to China for a holiday.
I understand that if I stay for more than 15 days, I will need to apply for a Visa.
However, if I stay for exactly 15 days, do I still need a visa? Is it safer to apply for one just in case my flight back was delayed?

Cindy, I don't advise you to apply for a visa. You can enter without a visa, in case that your flight back is delayed, you can apply for a visa within China at the local police.

you can stay there for 15 days.
don't overstay. fine 500 rmb per day.
you can go to local police station to extend your stay.
but they need you to have a sponsor, a local. and the reasons.
very troublesome. forget it.
