About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

I was injured and in a coma

Passport. Visa expired while in hospital
For 6 months, after a coma.
Are overstay penalties enforced?
What are consequences

You need to talk to the PSB first then get a new passport. In this case they will probably just waive the penalty for humanitarian reasons.
