About:China Postal Service

The USA Postal service told me that I can send (express mail insured) an expensive watch to China! However, they also told me that China postal regulations prohibit the import (to my taitai) of a watch. BUT accept jewelry! This does not make sense! So what is the answer? I can send it from NY USA but it would not be accepted in China. And I am sure that it would "get lost" (read stolen). I also tried three airlines to send it freight..but they would not accept it. Any solution? Thank you

I didn't heard the regulation but I do not suggest you mail the watch anyway. In case of lost, you should also pay tax for an expensive brand watch. The tax rate for a wach more than 10000RMB is 30 percent. You may try some big shipping companies.
