applying for x1 visa

Question

Hi. I'm a student in Jiangsu University. I haven't finished my degree yet but my visa is going to expire on 31 July 2019. I have applied for visa extension but immigration office refused to give my passport back before 3 weeks. I can't keep my passport that long because I have family affair that I have to travel with my passport. The immigration officer give me one solution that I can apply for X1 visa again, but my JW has already expired. Do you have any solution for that? What are the document needed to apply for X1'visa?

Dear, you may need to apply for X1 type again. Plus, the requirements usually include valid passport, application form and recent photo, admission letter and JW Form. Plus, you may need to provide some additional documents according to the country where you apply for.
