About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

I'm traveling from Hong Kong to Beijing and then from Beijing to Macau.

Am I eligible for transit visa?

Assuming that you are a US citizen and using the above mentioned itinerary, you are definitely eligible for 144 hours visa free transit. Keep in mind that both of your flights should be nonstop, i.e. they should not have have any additional landing(s) within mainland China. Also, please, just use correct terminology because this is not a "transit visa", but 144 hours visa free transit, i.e. there are no visas at all.
