About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Arrive Shanghai 0n 1 Sept 2019, Embark on 6th Sept, Disembark Shanghai 14 Sept

Do I need multiple visa. Arrive Shanghai by air on 1 Sept 2019, stay for 5 days. Embark on a cruise on the 6th Sept and disembark in Shanghai on the 14th Sept. to catch a flight back to Australia on the same day.

Dear, if you only stop in Shanghai and there is no other landing in mainland China, you can actually 144/ 24h visa exemption transit, which means that you don't need transit visa.
