About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa's Less than 72 Hrs

Hi,

I am travelling from Sydney to Shanghai, Staying in Shanghai for 2 nights. We are then travelling to South Korea for just under 2 weeks, then will stop over Beijing (will not leave the airport) to jump on our flight back home to Sydney.

Will the 72 Hour Transit visa be right for us?

Also, will need to complete a VISA Application form? I found another source saying i need to complete this?

Thanks!

Assuming Australian passports, Sydney-Shanghai-South Korea-Beijing-Sydney would qualify for 144 hours transit without visa in both Shanghai and Beijing (as long as this is your complete itinerary without any other stops that you have not included here). Please note that you do not get a transit visa. You will not be getting a visa of any kind, and you do not need to complete the visa application form. To avoid confusion, always use the terminology "transit without visa".
