About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

I will be in transit in Beijing Airport next August. I'm French and I go to Vietnam.

Because I have to wait a little bit more than 20 hours in the Terminal 3, I would like to know if I'm allowed to go in Beijing center to visit it and if yes, do I need a visa? And (again) if yes, what have I to do?

If you stay in mainland China less than 24 hours, you can apply for a stay permit at the airport to go to the city center.

However, if you stay more than 24 hours and less than 144 hours. You are eligible for the 144-hour visa free transit. You need to prepare your passport and onward ticket to Vietnam to apply for a stay permit.
