About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can we get a Temporary Stay Permit?

Coming into Beijing Airport from London via Moscow at 0950 27 August, leaving Beijing on 28 August on the Trans-Siberian railway which crosses into Mongolia during the night of 28 August.
Are we not eligible for the Permit because we are leaving on the railway?

You need a visa to take the train to Mongolia. The only allowed station is Beijing West which is for the overnight train to Hong Kong
