About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Jakarta - Shanghai - Venice

Hello! I'm working in China and my Visa expires on August 20th.
I will travel around Indonesia till August 24th and I will take a flight back to Venice (through Moscow) on August 27th (when my Visa will already be expired).

Am I eligible to get the Transit Visa in the city (coming from Jakarta) from August 24 to August 27? (I already have the ticket from SH to Venice).

Alex, regardless of your actual visa that will be expired at the time of your itinerary: Jakarta - SH - Moscow, you are definitely and unquestionably eligible for 144 hours visa free transit. Of course, you should be aware that your flight to and from SH within the mentioned itinerary should not have any additional landing within mainland China!

One detail more, Alex, just use correct terminology because you will be traveling using 144 hours visa free transit (without a visa) and not on any kind of "transit visa".
