About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Travel from HK to Shenzhen day trip

Hi
Me and wife traveling from UK with 2 children to Hong Kong. All UK passport holders, adults both valid HK ID holders. We are contemplating on a day trip to Shenzhen and traveling from Mong Kok to Lo Wu on the train. Are we eligible to apply for 144 hour visa pass?

Unfortunately not. You are eligible only for 5 day VOA exactly on the mentioned border crossing. This VOA is easily obtained since you are UK citizens, but a drawback is the price of 304 CNY per person.
