About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transiting Beijing Airport (6 hrs stop over)

Hi, we are a family traveling from Switzerland on route to Cambodia. Some of the family has a Cambodian passport and some have a UK passport. With a 6 hour stop-over, do we need a visa to transit Beijing airport?

If your entire transit through China (Beijing) is just 6 hours, i.e. less than 24 hours, you are perfectly qualified for 24 hours visa free transit. Simply speaking, none of your family, regardless of citizenship needs a visa. You should just have your tickets in hard copy, ready to be presented to relevant authorities.
