Proof of transportation leaving China

Hello

In order to obtain my visa to China, I need to show my train reservation from Guilin to Hong Kong (proof that I will be leaving China).
Based on your experience, is the pre-reservation enough or do I have to wait for the train ticket to be issued? The problem is that the ticket is issued only 30 days before, which will be right before my departure to China

Dear, as I know, you need to have your train ticket issued when applying, so taking flight between the two cities may be a better choice.
