About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

How to extend only a month more in my visa

I have x-visa from 2016-09-10 to 2019-08-01 multiple entries from Pakistan for my PhD study in Xian. I want to extend just about 30 more days in my visa, so that i can complete my degree attestation from chinese MOE, some embassies stamps in Beijing and some notarization formalities easily. Hong Kong route is a bit lengthy and require that i first get visit visa of HK, so how can legally and at what type of visa i can apply within China? It will definitly save my time getting some other visa, às HK do not provide us visa free or visa on arrival. The PSB office is there in Xian.

Dear, you can extend for another month at Xi'an Public Security Bureau without leaving China.

Do you have any chinese legal website which support your point, i mean never heard of that, how you sure about? I m not american btw
