About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need visa when travelling to Macau with a connecting flight in Shanghai?

We are traveling to Macau in one month. Lithuanian citizens do not need visa to enter Macau, but we have a transfer in Shanghai (about 5 hours long). Could you clarify if we need to fill out any extra documentation for Shanghai?

Probably, you will have to apply for 24 hours free entry permit in Shanghai because I doubt that you are flying on through ticket, i.e. I assume that you will change the airline and have also separate tickets. If I'm right, then you will apply for the mentioned permit, you will be granted one and will proceed for new check-in. Nothing to worry about.
