About:index

We are British staying in Malaysia.

Do the 144 hours visa free apply to us if we visit Chengdu from 16th July to 20th July and fly direct back to Kuala Lumpur.

No, you are not allowed to do that because this is not a transit, but a visit to China. Anyway, with just a bit of creativity, you could make your trip eligible. For example something like this:

Kuala Lumpur - Chengdu - Hong Kong - Kuala Lumpur
