About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly/cruise

My family and I will fly in to Beijing before leaving for a five day cruise to Japan from Tianjin Port, 2 days later. Do we apply for the 72 hour transit visa on leaving Singapore, or when we arrive at the airport?

You don’t need a visa if your passport is from one of the 53 qualifying countries. You’re covered by 144 hours visa-free transit. If you’re Singaporeans then you don’t need a visa for up to 15 days in China.
