About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Flying via Urumqi and Guangzhou

I will be flying from Vienna to Kuala Lumpur on China Southern. The Flight goes to Guangzhou with a Stop in Urumqi.
In Guangzhou I have to wait 6 Hours for my connecting flight to Malaysia. Do I need a Visa for this Journey.

Yes, you need a transit visa.
