How to apply for a tourist visa while already in China on another visa

Hi there,

I am currently in China on an X2 study visa. I would like to stay in China one month after it expires for sightseeing. Is it possible to get a new tourist visa for one month while in China after/just before my current X2 visa expires?

Joel, it is possible to get new tourist type for one month before your X2 expires. You can do it at local Public Security Bureau.
