About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

x2 visa and Temporary Residence Permit

Hello !
i will to next month to to Jiao Tong university for 3 weeks on single entry X2 visa. I think it will be possibile that i will visit china often, getting visa is costly (over 100USD) and time consuming process, can i make during my 3 week stay Temporary Residence Permit and use it instead of getting new visa again and again ?

You can only exit and enter mainland China on your temporary residence permit within its validity.

qustion is if i will be able to do Temp Residence Permint within 21 days when i will be in shanghai or this is too short time to do this

Dear, it may be difficult for you to get Temporary Residence Permit for 5 years. You can contact with local PSB for confirmation.
