TE INVITATION LETTER

Hi There,
Please help with information, I went to Chinese embassy today at Johaneesburg, SA. I was told that I need a TE: Invitation letter.

I have no idea what the letter is about or how it looks like. I contacted the organising committee of the conference I was about to attend for the said letter, but they also do not know what is a TE letter of invitation. Please advise, who can issue such letter and where does one get the letter.

You can ask the organising committee of the conference to get TE invitation letter from local Foreign Affairs Office.

Hi together, i will travel to china to our JointVenture for business for one week. I have a invitation letter from company but i received info, that i need an invitation letter TE. What is this TE-version and who can give me this TE-version. I am a turkish guy living in germany. thanks a lot.

TE is an official invitation letter required for applying for F visa. Your inviter can obtain it from local China Foreign Affairs Office.
