About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello. I'm Brazilian, I have a flight departing from Beijing.

My flight departs from Beijing, but I would like to take a high speed train from Hong Kong to Beijing, is it possible to use the 144h visa free transit?

Unfortunately, not. You can use the train, but it has to be a conventional one that departs from Hung Hom railway station in Hong Kong and arrives at Beijing West railway station in Beijing. The ride takes 24 hours and 15 minutes, but is noticeably cheaper that flying, especially in hard sleeper option. The time allowed to stay in Beijing starts at midnight of the next day after the train has arrived in Beijing. This train operates every other day. Of course, the alternative is to take a plane, but it has to be a nonstop flight!
