About:Hong Kong - Zhangjiajie Train

High speed train on-time arrival?

Hi,

Do the bullet trains to Changsha from Hong Kong arrive on time and do the trains from Changsha to Zhangjiajie leave on time? I'm thinking of taking the G80 train from Hong Kong to Changsha (arriving in Changsha at 11:17 am). Then hop on the K810 train from Changsha at 11:29am to Zhangjiajie? Is it too tight to get on the 11:29am, including the time spent in buying the train ticket in Changsha or should I buy the K810 train ticket in Hong Kong ahead of time? Thank you.

This trip is impossible. The G80 stop at Changsha South Station and the rides to Zhangjiajie all depart from Changsha Station. They are two different stations. You need at least 30min on the way to go from one station to the other. If you also plan to buy a ticket between the rides, you may need even 1.5 hours.
