Best Shanghai Pudong Airport transportation for evening and morning flights

I will be arriving at PVG at 8:30 PM. Staying two nights and then departing at 8:30 AM. What will be the quickest methods to get to and from the airport at those times? Would it be best to book an hotel near the Line 2 Metro? Would a particular station be best? I never travel with more than I can handle myself, but I will have a medium roller suitcase. Would it be best to leave it at the airport and only carry a daypack into the city?

Hi, the Metro Line 2 and maglev is the fastest way to leave/arrive at the airport. It is a good option to stay near the metro stations of Line 2. However, since your departure time is early, you may need to take taxi to the hotel.

You can store the luggage at the airport.

T1: Between Gage 4 - 5 and Gate 10 - 11 in the Departures Hall
Hours: 06:00-23:00
Location: Between Gate 6 - 7 in the Arrivals Hall
Hours: 06:00-24:00

T2: Near Island A in the Departures Hall;
Hours: 06:00-23:00
Location: Near the International, HK-Macao-Taiwan Arrivals Hall
Hours: 06:00-24:00
