About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Canadian traveling to Beijing from Australia wanting to use 144 hour visa free option

I am a Canadian citizen who will be traveling to and from Australia with the following itinerary:
SYD-HKG (2 hour layover)-PEK- SYD. Does this qualify for the 144 Visa Free Option?

If those are your only stops then it clearly qualifies for 144 hours transit without visa.
