Can a nepali currently in US apply chinese visa from US?

Hey. I am a nepali currently in US and want to visit my brother in china when i visit Nepal. Can i apply for a tourist visa from here. Or can i apply for a transit visa from here? Thanks

Deepa, you can apply for tourist type in the US.
