About:Shenzhen Travel

Travel from Europe to Hong Kong Airport, and then directly to Shenzhen for 5 days

Hi, I'm going to a conference in the city in August, for 4-5 days. I will travel from Europe, and prefer to fly to Hong Kong Airport, since it is much easier.

Is there a way, I could 1) Fly to Hong Kong airport from Europe without Hong Kong visa, then immediately travel to SZ via train, apply for the Visa On Arrival, stay in the city for 4-5 days, and then go back to Hong Kong Airport, and then fly from there back to Europe?

I guess my question more specifically if the 5-day VOA to SZ is everything I need for such a trip?

As I know, only Bao'an airport, Luohu Port, Huanggang Port, Shekou Port, and Fuyong Port are able to issue the 5-day VOA, so it is better for you to take a ferry to SZ. Nothing else is needed for your stay.

Thank you Ben! Do I understand you correctly that I won't need a Visa for Hong Kong, if I travel to SZ and get a 5-day VOA from one of the ports you suggest?
