When using the rail pass, how does one get into the station without a ticket?

When using the rail pass, how does one get into the station without a ticket? (Since there is a security check with gates before entering the departure hall.)

Usually people show paper ticket and travel document for entrance. If you use the rail pass, just show the pass, it equals to paper ticket and travel document.
