About:Gulangyu Island

Hi, How can I travel from Xiamen Si Ming District to the Gulangyu ferry terminal?

What time the port open (to buy the tickets)? And what time the ferry from Xiamen depart? If we have only 1 day to Gulangyu Island, which is the most recommended attraction? Is it possible to go to all site in 1 day? And one more, where do we pay the entrance fee? Right after we arrived at the Gulangyu ferry terminal? How can we use the electric tourist buggy? Is there any terms?

1. You can take Bus Line 107/853 to Sanqiutian Wharf to take ferry. The ferry departs from 7:30 to 17:30 with an interval about 40 mins.

2. Sunlight Rock, Bright Moon Garden, Organ Museum, and Shuzhuang Garden are recommended.

3. It is possible if you depart early.

4. There is no entrance fee for the island but if you want visit these attractions, you need to pay for each spot.

5. The electric tourist buggy is charged by different terms and the fare is from CNY 10-50 per person.
