We would like to go Hohhot from Beijing. Any possibility by direct bus?

Yes, you can take bus from Liuliqiao Bus Station at 8:30, 9:30,10:30, 13:30, 14:30, 16:10. The duration is about 8.5 hours and the bus fare is CNY150.
